Thanksgiving Feasting at Sixteen

Reflect on your gratitude list amidst majestic views of downtown Chicago while indulging in an unparalled holiday meal with loved ones. Offerings this season include Thanksgiving brunch and Thanksgiving dinner.

• Give Thanks Over Brunch

On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, Sixteen brings the year’s bountiful harvest to life by presenting a festive brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. inside the stunning dining room that affords breathtaking views of Chicago’s architectural landscape, the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Guests can indulge in traditional Thanksgiving favorites and other specialty items during the festive brunch buffet. To enhance the festivities, a string trio will provide beautiful background music while pilgrims circulate. A petting zoo will also be on hand for children and adults both to enjoy.

Thanksgiving brunch at Sixteen costs $158 per person and $50 for children ages 5 to 12 years of age, exclusive of tax, alcohol and gratuity.

• Celebrate Thanksgiving Dinner Over the Bounty of the Seasonal Harvest

Sixteen will be open for dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m., offering an inviting setting for those looking to enjoy a celebratory evening meal. The two-Michelin starred restaurant will offer the Chef’s tasting menu with special Thanksgiving holiday additions.

A multi-course tasting menu for $190 and a pre-fixe menu for $130 will be offered.

Take a break from the holidays with the Om Away From Home room package. The path to relaxation begins with an overnight stay for two in a Spa Guestroom that includes The Spa at Trump signature bath amenities, yoga mat, strap and block, Technogym® hand weights and a heated cabinet with herbal scented eye and neck pillow. The journey continues with a US $100 spa credit towards any 90-minute treatment. Christmas Dining at Sixteen

Revel in the magnificence of a twinkling downtown Chicago as you indulge in an incomparable holiday meal. Offerings this season include Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Holiday Buffet and Christmas Day dinner.

• Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner 

Experience a journey for the holidays with your loved ones at Sixteen through the tasting menu, Food in Progress: Assessing an American Food Revolution, which serves as an extended survey of the yearlong culinary theme. The menu explores the advancements in both agriculture and technology that enable convenient, affordable and year-round access to produce and products that were limited by seasonality in the past. The seasonal menu considers the history of easily accessible resources in America and how those resources have become exceedingly precious over time. For the Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinners, special holiday additions will be woven into the seasonal chef’s tasting menu. 

Christmas Eve dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. and will offer a multi-course chef’s tasting menu for $215 and a pre-fixe menu for $155. Christmas Dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will offer a multi-course tasting menu for $190 and a pre-fixe menu for $130.

• Christmas Holiday Buffet

On Christmas Day, Sixteen will offer a festive spread served in the stunning dining room from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. As a special treat during Christmas Day brunch, Santa’s reindeers will make a stop on The Terrace after their worldwide journey before retiring to the North Pole for the season. Hot chocolate and mulled wine will be available on The Terrace, a string trio will perform and Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by to spread their holiday cheer after their busiest night of the year!

The Christmas Day Holiday brunch at Sixteen costs $158 per person and $50 for children 12 years and younger, exclusive of tax, alcohol and gratuity.

• Holiday Cocktailing at Rebar

After hours of tiring shopping amidst the crowds, guests are invited to relax to the safe haven of Rebar—located on the mezzanine level of Trump Chicago—for a reviving holiday cocktail with magical views of the Chicago River and architectural buildings. Rebar’s bartenders placed a twist on the Manhattan by creating the Fear Not ($17) composed of Angel’s Envy bourbon, pine syrup, chocolate bitters and toasted pine. The name “fear not” originates from the legend of what an angel is rumored to tell to human upon a first encounter.

• Gingerbread Express

Beginning service on Saturday, November 21, guests will be transported to a holiday wonderland in the Gingerbread Express. Open throughout the holiday season, the hotel has designated one special elevator traveling up to the two Michelin-starred restaurant, Sixteen, dressed to the nines in everyone’s favorite holiday indulgences – gingerbread and candy canes. Created by Executive Pastry Chef Aya Fukai and team, guests who ride the Express will be greeted by the sweet aromas of the season, celebratory holiday music, and more than 1,100 gingerbread bricks made especially by the pastry team.
